Course Prerequisites:
  • Students who taking Algebra1 in school year can register.
    Course Objectives:
    • Solving Inequalities, solving absolute values, and using coordinate plans
    • Graphing linear equations and inequalities on coordinate plane.
    • Finding measures of central tendency using data
    • Simplifying polynomials
    • Solving systems of equations (algebraically and graphically), word problems and variation
Topics covered:
  • Expressions, PEMDAS, properties, solving single and multi-step equations
  • Solving Inequalities; relations and functions; coordinate plane; domain and range
  • Linear equations (y-intercept, point slope, parallel, perpendicular, horizontal, and vertical lines)
  • systems of equations (graphing, substitution, and elimination)
  • Data Analysis (mean, median, mode, line of best fit)adding, subtracting, and, scalar multiplication of matrices
  • polynomials (exponent laws, adding, subtracting, and dividing) and factoring
