Algebra1

The Algebra I curriculum is one of Math courses offered at the high school level. We cover the entire syllabus covered in school for Algebra I with the foundations required to solve problems. 

Course Prerequisites:
 Students taking Algebra1 in school year can register.
Course Objectives: Solving Inequalities, solving absolute values, and using coordinate plans
 Graphing linear equations and inequalities on coordinate plane.
 Finding measures of central tendency using data
 Simplifying polynomials
 Solving systems of equations (algebraically and graphically), word problems and variation


Topics covered:
 Expressions, PEMDAS, properties, solving single and multistep equations
 Solving Inequalities,relations and functions,coordinate plane,domain and range
 Linear equationspoint slope, parallel, perpendicular, horizontal, and vertical lines)
 systems of equations (graphing, substitution, and elimination)
 Data Analysis (mean, median, mode, line of best fit)
 polynomialsexponent laws, adding, subtracting dividing and factoring
